RBD, grupul care s-a format in anul 2004 in telenovela "Rebelde", ai carei protagonisti au fost Anahi, Alfonso, Christopher, Dulce Maria, Maite si Christian, se afla pe primele locuri in topul celor mai bine vandute albume ale artistilor internationali. La inceputul acestui an, RBD a plecat intr-un turneu mondial care a inceput in Spania, unde formatia a sustinut doua concerte, pentru ca mai apoi sa viziteze Franta, unde a promovat albumul in engleza "Rebels". Albumul "Celestial" se va lansa in Romania in luna martie, in premiera europeana.
HIT. Albumul de debut "Rebelde" a avut un succes extraordinar, incluzand hituri precum "Rebelde", "Solo quedate en silencio", "Un poco de tu amor". Curand, el a primit Discul de Aur, Discul de Platina si recent Discul de Diamant, avand vanzari de peste 500.000 de exemplare. Cele trei albume, "Rebelde", "Nuestro Amor" si "Tour Generation RBD en Vivo" (live), au primit trei din cele patru nominalizari la Best Pop Album of the Year – 2006 Billboard Latin Music Awards – castigator fiind "Rebelde". Succesul albumelor a fost atat de mare, incat au reinregistrat albumele in portugheza pentru fanii brazilieni. Au sustinut un concert cu casa inchisa, vandut in numai doua ore, pe Stadionul Maracana din Rio de Janeiro (cel mai mare stadion din lume), devenind prima trupa vorbitoare de limba spaniola cu un asemenea succes, depasindu-i pe Ricky Martin, Shakira sau Gloria Estefan
